Holy... Rurouni Kenshin Manga to Return!

I never would have expected this.  No word yet on what "brief run" and "reboot" mean, but can we possibly hope that this, at long last, will push us towards the Holy Grail of adaptations, the Jinchu Arc?  As surprising as this news is, it's easy to forget Watsuki-sensei is still barely 40 years old, so maybe we shouldn't be shocked.

  2. Wow. Right on cue. I guess we should have seen this coming, with the Kenshin resurgence recently!

  3. I was actually disappointed by the manga, after seeing the anime adaptation (well, the better anime episodes!). I guess the pseudo-physics explanation of the KEWL POWERZ comes off sillier in manga than in the anime. Or the author seems to conjure level 20 enemies out of nowhere whenever he needs to. I hope the upcoming manga either polishes the storyline or gives a happier ending than the anime had.
